Job Description:
Job Description The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the organization's real estate development projects. The role will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved quality, safety, and performance standards. Reporting to senior management, the Project Manager will provide leadership across project planning, contract management, cost control, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project governance while ensuring operational excellence and maximizing project value. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of real estate development and construction projects in line with the organization's strategic objectives. Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, milestones, and project deliverables. Ensure effective project governance by implementing project management standards, policies, documentation, and reporting procedures. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Manage project budgets, cash flow, CAPEX, OPEX, forecasting, and cost control to achieve financial and operational objectives. Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and contractor performance while ensuring compliance with approved budgets and timelines. Manage procurement and contract administration, including tender evaluations, contract execution, payment certifications, and variation orders. Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely project completion. Collaborate with internal departments, including Design, Sales, Marketing, Property Management, and Finance, to ensure smooth project execution and successful project handover. Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Prepare regular project progress reports, financial updates, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior management. Drive continuous improvement by implementing industry best practices and effective project management methodologies. Lead and motivate project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and high-performance standards. Reporting Line The Project Manager reports to the Executive Management and works closely with internal departments, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and strategic partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet quality, schedule, budget, and business objectives.
Desired Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. An MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is an advantage. A minimum of 11 years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale engineering or construction projects valued at USD 10 million or more. At least 5 years of experience in real estate development, property development, or a consultancy/construction environment. Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, contract management, procurement, and project delivery. Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, cost control, quality assurance, and construction methodologies. Experience managing consultants, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with senior executives, government authorities, consultants, investors, and strategic partners. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate project performance, manage CAPEX and OPEX, and optimize return on investment. Outstanding leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery against scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
